August 2020 RASC Webinar - Jeanet Owens, LAMTA Regional Rail
On August 21st, the Railway Association of Southern California hosted Jeanet Owens, Senior Executive Officer of Metro Program Management & Regional Rail, along with Vincent Chio and Scott McDonnell from the regional rail group. The presentation went over Metro’s upcoming regional rail improvement projects. Particular focus was given to the Link Union Station project, which rearranges the existing station throat tracks and adds run-through tracks to Union Station. The bridge over US-101 and the first two of the nine run-through tracks for this project have already received funding.
